Tom Cruise was one of the many high profile celebrities who attended Oasis’ sold-out concerts at London’s Wembley Stadium. It was a notable moment given the storied history between the A-list actor and the iconic English rock band fronted by brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, who have reunited after years of public feuding for a 2025 world tour.

As remembered by NME, the Gallagher brothers roasted Cruise during a scene in director Baillie Walsh’s 2007 rock documentary “Lord Don’t Slow Me Down.” The movie followed Oasis on the band’s “Don’t Believe the Truth” world tour, which took place from May 2005 to March 2006.

“He’s a little fucker, and he’s not been in one good film in his entire career,” Noel says on camera about Cruise, while Liam adds: “I hate Tom Cruise. Bastard. Him and [soccer player] Michael Owen.”

Cruise reportedly confronted Liam Gallagher years later when the two found themselves at the same hotel in Berlin, Germany in 2009. The actor was in town for “Valkyrie” press while Liam was prepping for an Oasis concert. Reports at the time said Cruise walked past Liam in the hotel and then turned around to playfully bring up the band’s criticism of him. The actor allegedly reminded Liam that he also said in the documentary that “Cocktail” was a good movie. The two men appeared to shake hands before parting ways.

There’s clearly no bad blood between Cruise and Oasis as the actor rocked out to the band at Wembley. Other celebrities who turned up at the concerts included Dua Lipa and Callum Turner. The Oasis reunion tour kicked off earlier this month in Cardiff, Wales, which marked the band’s first live performance in 16 years.

After the London shows, Oasis heads to Edinburgh and Dublin before coming to North America in August. The band will play Toronto, Canada; East Rutherford, N.J.; Chicago, Ill.; Los Angeles, Calif.; and Mexico City, Mexico before returning to London for two more Wembley Stadium dates in September. They will then tour in South Korea, Japan, Australia, Argentina, Chile and Brazil.
