In an interview, Seth Green recently said he would be open to a DuJour reunion

DuJour is the fictional boy band from the movie Josie and the Pussycats, which came out in 2001

The band consisted of Green, Donald Faison, Breckin Meyer and Alexander Martin

DuJour means reunion? Seth Green recently mentioned the possibility of getting the band back together.

"There was a moment we talked about it, because I just did a Robot [Chicken] panel on Thursday, and it was me, Breckin [Meyer], and Donald Faison, and I was like, 'Well, this is three-fourths of DuJour. We freestyled some terrible a cappella," Green, 51, said in a recent interview with ScreenRant.

"We had an idea, there was a moment when all the boy bands were doing new tours that we were like, 'Oh, we should do a limited [tour] where DuJour tries to get the band back together," the Family Guy actor continued.

"Write a tweet or something and see if it gets any traction," Green jokingly told the reporter.

The fictional band from Josie and the Pussycats featured Green as Travis, Meyer as Marco, Faison as D.J. and Alexander Martin as Les.

Josie and the Pussycats, based on the Archie Comic series of the same name, debuted in 2001. It starred Rachel Leigh Cook, Tara Reid and Rosario Dawson as the titular band members.

The movie debuted to poor reviews and a dismal box office run, but the campy flick has since become a cult classic in the years that followed.

The satirical musical comedy also starred Alan Cumming, Parker Posey, Gabriel Mann, Paulo Costanzo, and Missi Pyle.

Last year, Cook and Reid reunited at Awesome Con in Washington, D.C., where they spoke about the movie's impact and teased a possible reunion or remake project.

"All rock bands get back together again, right? That happens," Reid, 49, said as the audience cheered. "I think we should remake it with this cast. That would be super cool!"

Reid added, "Let's get the campaign going."

Cook, 45, also shared her appreciation for Josie and the Pussycats' devoted fanbase, helping to maintain its staying power after all these years.

"You guys are a testament that the movie worked all these years later," she said. "This is all about making that movie. So, thank you!"

"If this movie came out now, it would have been huge," Reid said. "But I really feel like this movie was ahead of its time."
