One bride took to Reddit to share that she was having doubts about her wedding dress.
She purchased one dress but sold it when she found a second gown that she fell in love with.
Now, she's worried she made the wrong decision.
When it comes to picking out your wedding dress, they say when you know, you know. No one, however, talks about getting cold feet with your choice of gown. Well, one bride is opening up about her indecisiveness and regret when choosing the most important dress of her life.
One bride took to Reddit to open up about her doubts under the username, Immediate-Pepper-516. In the post shared to the subreddit r/weddingdress, she revealed photos of two different wedding dresses, explaining that she had bought the first one before selling it and buying a second. The problem is, though, now she's doubting her decision, and she's looking for some encouragement from the Reddit community.
"I am having a back yard wedding in Oct 2025. I bought my first dress at a sample sale for $500 and it was a steal," she explained in the caption of the post titled, "I sold my first dress and now I’m doubting the style." "I loved how I looked but it was very early into my search and I had a few additional appointments the week after."

The bride bought two dresses and sold her first—then regretted it.
The first snap showed option number one: a plunging floral lace fit-and-flare gown with a mesh underlay and a long train. The bride-to-be went on to explain that a couple weeks after purchasing the first gown, she fell in love with a second during a bridal appointment. "I ended up committing to it and sold my first one so I no longer have it," she said, of the corseted tulle gown that featured a asymmetric sheer overlay and a layered ruffled A-line skirt.

However, now she's having second thoughts about her decision. "Now I am questioning the silhouette and wondering if I made a mistake going from a mermaid line to A-line 😭," she wrote.

Her second dress is a tulle corset gown with a ruffled A-line skirt.
Other Reddit users were quick to reassure the worried bride in the comments with the consensus being that she made the right decision. "No mistake—you look like a million bucks in the second dress. I don’t think the first dress suited you," one person wrote.

A second agreed commenting, "Dress 2 is absolutely stunning. It just looks magical. I wouldn’t worry ❤️."
"I was opening the post, hoping that the second dress is the one you chose," another user admitted. "it looks so amazing and you look ethereal.. hands down the right choice."
One commenter pointed out that she really couldn't go wrong with either gown, though, one truly stood out. "you look great in both silhouettes but the a-line dress is just way more breathtaking and showstopping. you made the right choice."
